Director of Sales

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A full-time commitment to work with us in our Los Angeles HQ. 
  • Strong industry relationships with agencies and brands direct.
  • At least 5-7 years direct sales experience; in online advertising or marketing tech, and directly selling to brands and agencies.
  • Proven success record of selling to complex solutions to enterprise level clients. 
  • Deep understanding of online advertising processes & cycles and how decisions get made.
  • Understanding of marketing technology and value.
  • Proven brand direct and agency relationships.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to relate to and build authentic relationships with clients and partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage relationships with top brands, media agencies, and publishers within the established territory.
  • Schedule and deliver sales presentations both in person and over the phone/email.
  • Review, negotiate, and close contracts and opportunities.
  • Articulate the value of engagement and interactivity for online and offline opportunities.
  • Attend industry events, entertain, network, and be fully immersed in the local digital scene.
  • Work with internal teams to advocate for clients, deepen relationships and share knowledge across the organization.
     

Digital Editorial Director

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A commitment of 25 hours per week, with opportunity to become full-time.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to always follow through on projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, confident and reliable.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinates and organizes editorial contributors, freelancers and interns (photographers, writers, creatives...).
  • Creates and/or produces original and adaptive material for various social media channels and participates in all details related to content and copy creation.
  • Edits and organizes all content in the office.
  • Collaborates with Girlgaze team members and contributors to ensure brand and strategy is represented.
  • Ensures deadlines are met and communicates with a broad range of contributors to properly complete and deliver content produced.
  • Create content plans, edit material and update project management tools as stages of projects proceed.
  • Develops new skills, levels of technical agility and learns new software to expand possibilities of social media engagement and content creation.
  • Keeps current with trends and topics in the community.
  • Lead content/strategy meetings with the Girlgaze Team.
  • Maintaining an organized system for approvals before posting or sharing content.

Executive Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant level experience working with a C-level executive.
  • A commitment of 40 hours a week with the ability to travel on occasion. 
  • Have some previous experience working in media or entertainment. 
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be proficient with Mac.
  • Proficient with Google Drive, Dropbox, Google Slides/Keynote, Google Calendar, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines, make decisions, delegate and change course of action quickly.
  • Must have strong organizational and follow thru skills, especially with travel/scheduling meetings.
  • Must be a strong problem solver and effective communicator.
  • Must be able to take initiative and also work as part of a team.
  • Must keep a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Ability to relate positively to people from diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to privileged matters.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Candidate will provide executive administrative support.
  • Coordinate and arrange full range of travel, including flights, cars, hotels for both Domestic and International.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, and put together meeting materials as required.
  • Greets clients, talent and executives.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Monitor Executive’s emails.
  • Compose memos and correspondence for supervisor’s review and signature.
  • Perform clerical duties as needed.
  • Perform various related duties as necessary.
